Jerry Lawler Says Hulk Hogan-WWE Situation Was Blown Out Of Proportion

Published

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler feels that the entire situation that caused WWE to suspend fellow Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan for 3-years was blown out of proportion.

Lawler was recently interviewed on The Roman Show during the annual Florida Supercon and spoke at length about the situation.

“I am not shocked at all. I was shocked while he wasn’t in the WWE Hall of Fame. I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion. I’ve known Hogan his entire career and for the claims of him being a racist, there was never not one ounce truth to that at all. Like I said, I’ve known the guy my whole life and he is a really good guy and I felt it was an overreaction. I think we go overboard being politically correct.

“I am happy he is back. I am hoping they (WWE) renew a working relationship. Let’s face it, without a doubt he is the most popular WWE Superstar of all time. It’s only right he should still be in the Hall of Fame and working in the WWE.”

Published

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels was a recent guest on E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness and discussed a number of topics including his work down at NXT with the younger superstars and his recent in-ring return at Crown Jewel.

“I’m glad to say that I did it, but I don’t want to try it again.” Michaels said regarding his match earlier this month.

Michaels also refuted the idea that he did it for the payday.

“I didn’t want to be put in that position because I’m good with the performances that I’ve had at WrestleMania. I wanted to end those the way that I ended them” Micheals said, saying that all 4 men in a tag match was like KISS and the Rolling Stones playing their greatest hits.

Michaels also said that he is happy he returned, but does not want to get back in the ring again.
