WWE has pulled another performer from the Memphis Wrestling show that was originally set to be headlined by Hulk Hogan vs Jerry Lawler.
Robert Gibson had been advertised to appear with his Rock N Roll Express partner Ricky Morton, but Gibson was told by WWE that he would not be allowed to appear on the show. Gibson is currently working as a trainer in the WWE developmental system.
Macklin called Gibson and verified that he had been told by WWE officials that he would not be allowed to appear. Macklin stressed that no other WWE affiliated performers are scheduled for the show, so they can’t pull anybody else from the show.
The event will take place this Friday night at the Fedex Forum in Memphis and the main event will see Hulk Hogan face Paul Wight (formerly Big Show).
