WWE Releases Aaron “The Idol” Stevens

World Wrestling Entertainment announced tonight that they have released Aaron “The Idol” Stevens from the company. Stevens worked on the Smackdown brand for a short time as half of a team with KC James managed by Michelle McCool during her heel run. When McCool took ill, they quietly were sent back to developmental. Stevens worked the Raw house shows this weekend and had been a top tier player in OVW in recent months, feuding with Paul Burchall and Jay Bradley for the OVW title.
