WWE Releases Big Cass

WWE has announced their decision to release superstar Big Cass, which was announced on Tuesday via WWE’s official website.

“WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).”

Big Cass was last seen at Sunday’s WWE Money in the Bank PPV where he suffered his second consecutive loss to Daniel Bryan on PPV.

It is unclear as to what led to WWE deciding to release Big Cass, a superstar that they were once very high on, but rumors that he went against WWE’s directives during a recent segment with Daniel Bryan that saw Cass beat down Bryan, may have been a major factor in WWE’s decision.
