WWE legend and future Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio made a surprising return at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, making a big impression on the event and looking to be in tremendous shape.
Mysterio’s performance was so impressive that WWE, who originally had Mysterio for a one-off appearance, is interested in bringing Mysterio in on a long-term basis.
According to a source, WWE and Mysterio have discussed the possibility of a new deal, one that would bring Mysterio back to WWE, perhaps in the Cruiserweight division, leading up to the Rumble and that a deal could be hammered out before WrestleMania 34.
