WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson may be heading back to WWE after officially announcing on the live-broadcast of his podcast ‘The ARN Show’ that he will be leaving AEW once his contract expires on May 31st.
Anderson is thankful for his time with AEW and expressed gratitude for AEW CEO Tony Khan, whom he called a wonderful human being while speaking about the impact that AEW has had on the wrestling industry by providing a legitimate alternative for talent to go to. He also thanked Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross, Dean Malenko and Jerry Lynn as well.
Anderson said that he now wants to focus more time in helping his son, former AEW star Brock Anderson, in his development.
Anderson joined AEW following his departure from WWE, so there remains a possibility that Anderson could land back in WWE, likely working with young talent at the PPC and over at NXT. Anderson will also continue his show on The Four Horseman Network.
