CM Punks’ appearance on NXT has certainly paid off when it comes to ratings as his latest appearance this past week helped NXT generate their highest ratings over the course of the last few months.
CM Punk was part of a segment with Giulia and Roxanne Perez and then, later on in the show, Punk was part of a segment where he was announced as the special guest referee for the NXT Championship match between NXT champion Ethan Page and Trick Williams when NXT is set to make it’s premier on The CW on October 1st.
According to Wrestlenomics and Programming Insider reports, the September 17th edition of NXT saw an average viewership of 677,000, up eight percent from the previous week’s 628,000, which marked the highest-viewed NXT of the past ten weeks.
