Published

on

Rey Mysterio has inked a new 2-year contract with WWE and will make his official return on SmackDown’s 1,00th episode special on Tuesday, October 16th from the Captial One Arena in Washington, DC.

According to PWInsider, Mysterio’s new contract with WWE includes a stipulation that he can ‘give notice’ to the company at the 18-month point of the contract, and seems like the perfect deal to allow Mysterio one final WWE run.

WWE has teased  a Mysterio/AJ Styles dream match in the past and with Mysterio likely heading to the SmackDown brand, this could be a huge setup for a potential match at WrestleMania 35 next year.
