WWE reportedly has their eyes on AEW superstar Ricky Starks.
According to Mike Johnson of PW Insider, WWE has “certainly interest” in Starks in addition to other AEW stars, and sources within the company confirmed this to him.
During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that “a lot of people” in AEW believe Starks is heading to WWE and this is the reason why AEW is not “investing” in building a storyline for Starks.
Starks is a former FTW and AEW World Tag Team Champion but has been tied to WWE over the last several months. Starks has been seen with WWE stars on social media, is close with WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, and was in attendance at WrestleMania 40 to watch Rhodes win the title.
